A Song for Noise, A Song for Harvest Spiders, The Old Ways, A Horse Named Can Ball the Flowers, “On Hubbard Street” and 1968, 1969, The Fifty Year Anniversaries are Almost Over. All of these poems appear in my chapbook “The Beer Line”. “Who Wrote the Book of Love?” and “A Song for Biofilms” are included in my chapbook “All the Secrets Around Me”. Microscopy, A Song for Centipedes and “Serving Orders at Brother’s Foods” are uncollected.
Between 2000 and 2012, poems published in my 2018 book “In the Field, Autobiography of an Inspector” first appeared in print in Kudzu Review, Blue Fifth Review, Wisconsin People and Ideas, Wisconsin Academy Review, Isotope, Verse Wisconsin, New Delta Review and Mud Season Review. A poem also appeared in an anthology “In My Neighborhood, Celebrating Wisconsin Cities”.
